From other responses it looks like yours is elective, on basis you have researched and know what you’re getting into just enjoy the day, the feeling that it’s finally going ahead, stay on track and confident and look forward to coming around in the recovery room having achieved what you set set out to do. Other than that, recovery is quick for scrotal approach a bit longer for inguinal / radical approach so make sure you have a good book or remote control batteries if the latter.

well it got delayed to today due to an unrelated car wreck taking up the time of the doctor, but other than it taking 2 hours [the nurse doing it was training another nurse how to do it during my surgery] it went well. Me and my GF both got to watch and had no pain [or feeling down there] at all during it [honestly if I wasnt watching it could had easily convinced myself I was just lying on a table/chair].

Currently resting at home with my GF beside me, will keep you all updated.
