WPATH SOC 8 surgeries

WheelyCurious mentioned WPATH SOC 8 in another post and I'm curious about the effect this has had on individuals seeking castration and penectomies. I'm curious as to whether more urologists are actually doing more castrations and or penectomies. I do know that more and more young women are entering into Urology as their medical specialty, which may or may not help. From my experience most of the female counselors and urologists were more understanding and sympathetic, so I think that as more enter into Urology, they'll be more willing to castrate or perform penectomies. Last week, I had my final appointment with my urologist so he could look over his handy work. (He removed the last of my penis, scrotum, and testicular chords. I had been castrated and penectomized years before, but he went in and removed every last bit of my genitals, save for a small piece that was rerouted). When he came in to examine me, he brought a young intern with him. She was training to become a urologist and he was eager to show her what he had done. She was certainly interested and took a good look, though their wasn't much to see. The question I have is this, will WPATH SOC 8 actually make it easier to get castrated and or penectomized? Will uroloists become more inclined to do these surgeries? Will it eventually become a normal or regular operation? I think it will, though and I expect some of the SOC 8 pre-surgical counseling and or recommendations to be reduced. What are your thoughts?
