How do you feel about breast growth after castration?
I've been a eunuch for eight years and have been on T for only two. My nipples are significantly larger but have little actual gland growth. I don't like T and am thinking of switching to E. I wouldn't mind the breast growth. But even if I attain full nullo, I do not think I will ever identify as female. If I were to have breasts, I hope they would bounce proudly in my polo shirts, but having Asperger's syndrome, people constantly staring would be unsettling.

Re: How do you feel about breast growth after castration?
I'm currently just chemically fixed, and haven't gotten the big snip yet, but have been on E for the past several months. Supposedly long enough that I have gotten most of what I'm going to get in the way of growth.
My breasts have definitely grown, and are now big enough to fail the 'pencil test'. I feel they are quite noticeable when I'm naked and looking down at them when doing bathroom stuff, less so in the mirror.
Most of the growth has happened after I did my winter switch to T-shirt + long sleeved shirt and they don't seem terribly noticeable with that combo, will see in a couple months what it looks like when it warms up and I can go back to just a T-shirt.
My nipples are probably about the size they were before I started, but are up all the time instead of flat like they were most of the time before.
I'm not happy about the growth, but at least what I've gotten so far is tolerable, and I knew going in that it was part of the package of doing the switch to E.
I present as male now, and have no plan to ever present as anything else, so hope I don't get much more growth, but at this point aside from being in a swimsuit (a rare event) I don't see what I have as a problem.
What I've heard is that how much you get is very much a YMMV question, but that older tends towards less, and that you will tend to get levels similar to that of your female genetic relatives, if that helps any w/ prediction...

I don't think that men with boobs should see themselves as female. Being women is much more that having a developped breast. Development of boobs for men medically cald gynecomastia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gynecomastia
is a common situation for 35% of the men between 50 and 69 years of age. As we are as a foetus developed first as female, we have all the cells and receptors that respond to a lack of T when oestrogen and other like hormones becomes predominent. I think it could be natural for a man to see himself as a man with boobs. This is no extraterrestrial situation it's common human life for many. Man with boobs... Why not?. Especially if they are not too apparent and easily concealed. It's more for you to know and appreciate not for social exhibition. That we'll leave for some women.

I agree that boobs do not make the female; it's life's experience that generates the possibilities. I have always loved my two wives, My first for 36 years and now my second. My perfect sleep would be with something round, worm, and soft. ( I can never remember the redhead's name when I wake up.) I've always wondered what it would be like to be a woman and instinctively knew I could never pass as one in an M2F process. I now write and started by deliberately choosing a boy to man for the first four manuscripts, but after reading another series, my current manuscript involves his best friend, a woman who becomes a knight herself. I am writing in the first person present as it puts the reader and myself in her shoes, (she's pretty badass.) I do take the exception that it should be all right if not too apparent. Women are getting bigger and bigger implants, so what is wrong with a man with a super-sized package, especially if wearing a codpiece? I wear one when LARP'ing and am considering it for everyday wear. In the old days they were mostly stuffing and maybe a coin pocket. A codpiece and real cleavage under my polo shirt, YES.

I see myself as non binary. And for breasts after I got castrated and started on Estradiol I have been slowly growing breast. I wasn't sure about this but I don't know if it is the hormones or what, but I love it. I hope to grow at least to A cup and B would be wonderful.

I saw my endroconologest today. He won't proscribe estradiol but wants me to reduce my T from 200 mg every two weeks to 150 mg every two weeks. This is going to be a big help. When I started T, I had a minor stroke or TIA. CAT and MRI found nothing. The current theory is my blood is too viscous, hence my need to drink a lot of water. The other half in my discussions today is my red blood count and T levels are too high. RBC is promoted by testosterone: higher viscosity, less flow to the brain. So no E yet. Grrr.

Re: How do you feel about breast growth after castration?
FWIW, my doc is very worried about blood clots as well. She says that I'm at higher risk because of spending all my time sitting around
However she was willing to do E, but only the patches or injections as she said those were the forms with the lowest risk. I had been pretty firm about not wanting to continue doing T, and since she felt I had to do one or the other, (I agree) she wanted to do the lowest risk form of E....
You may have to argue with the endocrinologist, and tell him you aren't willing to continue on T - he can't force you to take it w/o his consent and he may be reluctantly OK w/ E if you refuse to keep doing T... At the very least I've had fairly decent luck when I insist on a specific explanation of WHY the doc is pushing or resisting something in my specific case, as opposed to just a generic 'this is what the book says' sort of answer...

I think it would reduce your RBC if you cut the dosage in half and injected weekly.

Re: How do you feel about breast growth after castration?
for me I never viewed the idea of having breasts as being "female" [though with mine while I did get a small amount of growth I could feel, it never was obvious to anyone else]. I know others who got snipped and grew quite large breasts and where happy about it and viewed themselves as more female.
Like most things, depends on the person.

I'm pretty sure I subconsciously want breasts. I pierced my nipples in the 70s, and they have stood proudly and been sensitive ever since. Recently I put 10g shackles on them. I guess I'm still an adolescent fascinated by my father's playboy mags. They didn't show crotches, but some women had awesome torpedos.
