Boy forcibly made "eunuch"

In a shocking incident, "some acquaintances" forcefully performed a surgery on a 22-year old boy in an attempt to make him an "eunuch".

The matter came to light when the boy, who was held under captivity for about five months in the Haibowal locality, escaped from his acquaintances today and told his misery to reporters in the Civil Hospital here, where he was examined by doctors.

Though the victim reported the matter to the police, no formal case has been registered so far.

The surgery to convert him into an "eunuch" was performed after making him unconscious, he alleged.
