What is it like to be nullo? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
For some reason I find questions like this difficult to answer. Not because thay cause any distress or are intrusive (if I wasn't willing to share info I wouldn't have had info on line since 1994 . . .), but because there are so many facets and some may be of more importance than others to the reader.
I'll give it a shot by just listing some of the points that pop into mind while looking at these questions.
What is it like to be a nullo? Probably not as 'exciting' as others would hope for. I'd say that 99% of the people around me have no idea I'm modded in that way. Those who know are aware because I told them or made it somehow obvious. Very few have found out on their own.
So, that means that over 99% of the folks around me behave just as they did while I was still owner/operator of a trouser snake. That means that in relation to others there is less than a one percent change/difference.
For me personally the biggest differences are moving differently because of not having to make allowance for genitals getting in the way (sitting, standing, walking, crossing legs, whatever).
( the next few sort of get into 'disadvantages' . . . )
Another is having to squat to pee. This takes longer (can't just unzip, whip it out, pee, shake, stuff it back in, zip, but have to actually push clothing below the waist to a below the knee position then sit on the pot). This partial undressing, re-dressing takes extra time.
Add to that the necessity of finding sit-down accomodations rather than just standing in public restrooms adds a level of difficulty. Additionally, many public restrooms are filthy. In those instances one can feel OK standing a foot from a urinal and pissing into it, but may not want to sit on anything with one's naked butt . . .
While camping and such the level of difficulty and discomfort is even more increased by having to hang one's butt out in the open in some nasty weather . . .
There are devices, made for women in similar situations, that allow the stand, unzip, pee, zip performance, and I have used them camping and traveling.
An additional option in such situations is a Foley catheter with a clamp to start/stop the flow. Works nicely, but has the usual indwelling catheter potential problems.
