Hi all,
Looking for a surgeon recommendation in the Denver area. As my handle implies, I'm a "uniball". Due to chronic pain in my remaining testicle, low T, and other reasons, I'm looking to have it and my scrotum removed. Any recommendations?

I do not believe there is anyone we could identify in the Denver area at the moment who would do a voluntary testicle removal, which is likely how most doctors will see this.
Are you willing to travel if needed?

I'm willing to travel, but due to the extra expense and logistics etc it would not be my first choice.
More of my back story: I lost my left testicle to cancer in 2001. Since shortly thereafter I've experienced dysphoria in that it has always felt strange having only one. After a vasectomy in 2009 I began having a near constant ache. A few years ago I consulted with my urologist and he floated the idea of removing it. Wanting to preserve sexual function, I declined. Now my T level has dropped by a third and he has started me on TRT. So my thinking is, if my testicle is just hanging around not doing its job, why keep it around. Especially when it causes me physical and psychological discomfort.

If your old Uro proposed it, ask them again. They might take you up on it, if they're not retired or dead.

Do you want implants or an empty sack? I have implants. They were from Europe, and I really like them a lot. Nice large soft balls. I am on TRT. I don't miss my natural ones and I am happy that I was castrated.

Actually I did bring the subject up with my urologist a couple months ago. He threw cold water on the idea. So I'm scouting for a new urologist too lol.

Does that mean you are looking for implants or you want an empty scrotum?

Thanks for confirming. I am chatting with a guy on Discord and he was castrated. Now, he realized (for him) it was a mistake. He is trying to come up with a way to afford getting implants. Originally, he thought he wanted his scrotum removed. Now he is uncomfortable having sex with other men without having testicles.

If you're willing to travel, I would check out Dr. Aguilar in Mexico. He will ask a few questions, but generally performs these surgeries (castration on up to full genital nullification) with a minimum of fuss. Don't be put off by the name of the clinic. He seems to do good work and could help you achieve your goal with a minimal hassle.
