It appears the WPATH SOC 8, which includes Eunuchs and Non-Binary, will be published the week of Sep 4, 2022, electronically in the The International Journal of Transgender Health.
That's the plan, if it happens, we'll see. But it looks like the new standards, which include many in this community, are finally here... Next week.

This makes me happy.

Thanks to everyone who put all their time and hard work into SOC 8.

Seriously, thank you.

Release is scheduled for this week and today is a national holiday in the United States. Losethem and I will vie to see which of us can post the link first once the Standards of Care are released on-line.

Delayed yet again. The following post arrived from WPATH just a few minutes ago:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to pause the online release of SOC8, we hope to have this sorted out within the next 7-10 days, and will reach out once we have a new release date of SOC8. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
All best
WPATH Board & SOC8 Co-Chairs

So, what "unforeseen circumstances" would cause them to "pause the online release of SOC8"? Like a technical issue with their servers? Maybe they are worried people are going to overwhelm their website and crash it, perhaps? Or is this something more nefarious, since this is WPATH and that "TH" does stand for "Transgender Health".
Cause God forbid we'd have any actual Standards of Care made by actual degreed, licensed, accredited, and certified professional doctors, nurses, surgeons, psychiatrists, neuropsychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, therapists, psychotherapists, pediatricians, neurologists, OBGYNs, urologists, epidemiologists, endocrinologists, sociologists, speech-language pathologists, researchers, scientists, professors, lawyers, and clinical ethicists (yes, I looked up everyone who worked on SOC8) instead of some <insert politically-directed insults here> soccer Mom who gets her "research" from Facebook and 4chan. [sorry.]

One of the frustrating things with this process has been WPATH over promising then under delivering. Then they hide any "issue" causing a delay, instead of being transparent.
Their behavior causes the very people they claim to serve to lose confidence in the organization, and it's seemingly their standard practice.
