Gender Census 2022, the huge annual survey of people who do not fit the gender binary, is now open. Please complete this survey to improve eunuch visibility:
https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/GenderCensus2022/
"As far as we know, most people fit tidily into one of these categories:
- Woman/girl - all the time, solely, and completely (may be cisgender or transgender)
- Man/boy - all the time, solely, and completely (may be cisgender or transgender)
This survey intends to collect information about everyone who DOESN'T fit into this system. Anyone who doesn't feel like they fit into one of these two boxes is invited to participate. There are no geographical restrictions.
If you hesitate or struggle to place yourself into just one of the two boxes, or if you know for sure that these boxes were not made for you, please do continue!"
[...]
"The survey opened on Wednesday 13th July 2022 and closes on Friday 12th August 2022 at the earliest. If the survey is still open, your responses will be counted."

Re: Gender Census 2022 is now open
I took it, seems pretty reasonable and FAR easier than Jesus' survey
However they did NOT offer eunuch as an option for any of the questions about what you defined yourself as.... I did write it in as appropriate, and added a note in the feedback section requesting it, and pointed at EA as where I learned about the survey...
Per the FAQ he seems to say that it takes about 30 instances of a response to get it added as a checkbox, so it would be good if as many folks here that are willing could put that as an answer it will hopefully get added next time around.

I don't understand the purpose of this poll.
"The Jesus' survey" was produced by learned anthropologists for scientific purposes, and was composed with wisdom and delicacy.

Great! Results in previous years reported several eunuchs, but only the most popular terms or phrases graduate to checkbox options in the following year. I expect that "eunuch" will remain a write-in candidate for the foreseeable future, but we will still appear in the full results. Last year for example, there were only six "eunuch" reports, all aged over 30. I missed the census myself, so I hope we can do better this time:

"The Gender Census is an annual survey that collects information about the language used by people whose genders are not adequately described, expressed or encompassed by the restrictive gender binary. [...] The language we ask about includes identity words, honorific titles, and pronouns."
This survey is purely about how nonbinary people describe themselves, and is thus quite different to the comprehensive data gathered by Jesus' survey.
