BodMod misstatements and other annoyances

Maybe I've been around too long. Perhaps I'm overly sensitive, but I can't be the only one who cringes when they see the following:

Elasticator

Neuterectomy

Mascunull

Orchidectomy

Burdezzo

Penisectomy

Referring to alcohol or other caustic injections as chemical castration.

Folks taking a single dose of Androcur and wondering why they've not gone to castrate testosterone levels yet (this one I blame our I WANT IT NOW society for).

And don't get me started on the folks who call themselves eunuchs, nullos, or penectomized who have NOT gone through the surgery to do so. Go through the pain of actually removing something and I'll gladly welcome you to the club. Until then, you're aspirant/wannabe.

These are all things I've seen just today in my random wanderings around our mutual interests here.

Anyone else who has actually crossed the finish line on these things have anything to add?

I am asexual and preferred "pain during surgical removal of genitals".

I got used to lack at me of genitals and I like it esthetically.

Most of people tries to keep the natural look, to reduce sexual potential some...

Yes it is annoying. I risk your wrath here, as I’m not yet nullo but scheduled to be in early November. Her Magesty’s passport office and the popularity of the clinic are clearly conspiring.

Fantasies are fine and should be welcomed, even encouraged. Yet the line must be drawn somewhere.

And whilst we’re on the subject, heartburn medication does not shrink your cock. So please, all of you, stop it.

And you’ll need at least two months of heavy Androcur medication to notice results. 200mg/day min. Yes I’ve done it. Yes I know. Anything else and you have an expensive prophylactic.

there is the nightmare of having a portion of one's dissociated mind taking steps to get rid of parts regardless of safety. I've been to the ER so many times. I've done reconstructive surgery. and none of this was casual. none of it was fun. I sat there and watched me doing these things to myself and I couldn't stop it. I was all set to do the orchi myself if I couldn't get it done medically safely. I had an elastrator and bands picked out. I really did not believe I'd be able to convince a doctor to do it. and I had been in a group therapy program shortly before and the topic of me and what I wanted to do with my balls kept comong up and don't think anyone believed me. but I did get it verifiably done in a hospital setting in an OR. in March. just the orchi. more stuff still needs to go. I'm working on the safe way, but until I get a doctor to do it there still is the danger of doing it myself. it's not threats. it's not sensationalization. it's a raging war inside. one day I will cross the finish line. believe me when I say, I do want it to be done in a medically safe way, but I want it done in any way more. whatever terms I use are sincere. I believe that for at least some wannabees, there is a war raging in them too. I don't think castration and the rest is a casual thing. I just always wish the system, the society would wake up and realea lot of us need the help. I don't know. maybe it's just me.

Somewhat off topic maybe?

You, like me, seem to me to be an extreme volunteer :).

Most people have serious medical problems that need to be discussed.

It also seems to me that some people don't need a quick result, they are fascinated by the process of research...

Indeed. That age old adage springs to mind: Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive. Personally, I embrace the journey and the result. You are fortunate enough to be a nullo. I will join you.

Largely I agree, but would point out that "Orchidectomy" is a CORRECT alternative spelling of the surgery - looking for it w/ Startpage returns a LOT of results from medical clinics and other such places that would (hopefully) know how the word is spelled... A quick scan of the sites listed w/ that spelling looks like many are UK / AU so it looks like yet another instance of 'Brits talking funny' 😄

While I agree that there is a difference between chemical and surgical castration, I think that if someone has done chemicals to the point of (confirmed by test) castrate level, as I have, then he is more than just "aspirant/wannabe" even if not all the way into the surgical club...

I wasn't sure until my latest T test a few days ago, but I definitely fit the class of "Chemical Eunuch" at least, even if I haven't seen any noticeable changes other than the test...

(BTW, I don't know how the "FQM" tag under my icon on posts got there, I've never touched that bit that I know of...)

As far as I understand the term the "FQM" is assigned automatically depending on the number of your posts (of course, if the administrator does not mind).
