I do read sometimes in the fiction archive and was wondering if anyone knows where Author Uncutboy went? He wrote a couple stories a while back, and one was a multi-part about a trophy collector, and he hinted the best part of his collection was the set of parents and their (adult) son. He was writing as if he was going to tell us how those folks got to that point, but abruptly stopped. So we know they do it, we just don't know how they went about it.
His last chapter was in September 2019.
Of course, it appears he's not been on since last November. Maybe he'll return and let us know how the story ends?
I apologize for not knowing the answer to this question.
But I became curious and I read all the works of this author ...
After a while, I remembered the following
The thing about writing:
"Write because you like to, not because you're aiming for an elusive bullseye.
I'm writing something myself, but I've not gotten beyond sketching out the storyline. Right now I'm in the middle of writing out the basics for each chapter (it's 11 or 12 chapters long in concept), and from there can write the chapters themselves. It's the first time I've tried writing something related to this subject with forethought, instead of simply writing a, "stream of consciousness." That's what I call the process of insomnia, and just blurting the story out through a keyboard. For some it works well, for others it can be disjointed. I'll leave the judgement of that to those who read stories.
I'm very much into the father and (adult) son concept of pursuing nullification. That's the kind of story I'm writing. Maybe in the middle of all this I'll put out a single stream of consciousness type story, but I really want to get the full "novel" done. Then I'll post it a piece at a time. I have no set date to complete it though.
Right now it's a father-son story from both being kids, on up to their present ages (Dad is in his 70's, son in his 40's, neither is castrated/nullified as a minor). I'd say more about what it's entailing, but don't want to give out the whole story line. Got to have a bit of mystery, eh?
But back to the main point... write what you like. Don't beat yourself up because you think you're failing to write a Pulitzer Prize winning eunuch story."
