Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but as stated I need some help with research. I'm writing a story about a man being castrated and want to be as realistic as possible. While I haven't had to much trouble finding information about healing and recovery, or the actual effects, I'm having trouble finding rough estimates on timing. So I'm asking here for anyone who has been castrated (especially with no or minimum T replacement)

-About how long after castration did you start feeling the effects of low T?

-About how long after did you start having hot flashes and how often did they occur?

-How quickly did semen change consistency?

Any other details would be appreciated. I know people have posted information about their changes before but I'm having trouble finding and compiling it all.

hi, I was just castrated a little less than a month ago. I'm not on any hormones. I don't know for sure why I'm having hot flashes bc I'm on some meds that could produce the same result, but they began about two and a half weeks ago. sometimes it's often like one after another. sometimes less often but pretty much daily. . as for semen, there's none and it seems there is no chance of there ever being any more. completely dead in that respect. I don't know if it's possible but I'm certain I am losing beard growth. seems to really show and like I said, not sure that's even possible. the actual healing is slow. large lump inside but Dr says it's to be expected and is ok. the most important thing is that I'm feeling really happy and discovering that I wanted this way more than I thought. it's really nice!!! happy to answer any other questions you may have so feel free to ask away.

just occurred to me, a stroke?

I do think I understand. like women's frequent refrain, the balls are a man's mind... well they certainly are an extension of the brain but if for some reason the one with the balls does not learn to think properly with them early on in life, they do become a hinderence to living. and thus for me, it did become a hated part of me I needed to be separated from. I guess that this is how it works (or doesn't) for many.

my life was primarily trouble. I wish I realized a medically safe orchi was an option long ago, but happiness abounds now due to my new found freedom. I'm finally learning about happiness. feels so good. right !?
