To All Potential AOL Users

Ok, to folks like Andrew who don't have this problem, this doesn't apply.
However, EVERY DAY I have new mail from an AOL user that cannot register and log in.
The problem is such: at first I thought it was newer versions of AOL that VBulletin did not like. I had it backwards. If you have the right mix of older AOL versions, like 5.0, then it's time for you to upgrade. There's no way to tell what the combinations are, but there are obviously a mix of AOL and Windows updates out there - and quite a few of them - that prevent one from registering and logging in successfully.
If you get this problem, minimize all AOL windows. Open up Internet Explorer or Netscape. View the Archive in THAT window. Something in VBulletin doesn't like older AOL browsers, and it will NOT let you log in.
If you still have problems, don't hesitate to write and we'll try and figure it out. In the meantime, upgrade...
