Hello All
Im new to the forum, but not new to the Eunuch Archive, as I have been reading posts regularly for several years.
Just to get started, a bit about myself: Im a 64 year old healthy widower. My interest in testicle surgery really started while I was in college. The school that I went to had a medical teaching college attached to it. During my freshman year, I saw an add for "compensated teaching patients". As I, like most students, needed money, I answered the add. The next day, I was being interviewed by several Doctors and Nurses. I agreed that I would be open and willing to be used as a teaching patient for all areas of study, as long as it did not prevent me from continuing to go to my classes. The next day, I was contacted by the head doctor in the urology department. She explained that there were a group of student doctors and nurses that needed to receive training in the PESA, and TESA procedures. She then went on to explain that these procedures involved inserting a needle into either the epididymis of the testicle, or into the testicle itself, to extract sperm cells. All done under a local anesthesia. I initially thought no way as i assumed that the pain would be excruciating. She explained that there are no nerves in the testicle itself, and that most men tolerate the procedure well. After hearing that, and how i could receive weekly pay for my participation, I agreed. The first appointment was a few days later, and as the young nurse in training, she later became my wife and life partner, shaved my pubic hair, I got the cold chills. All went well, but it was awkward to have a group of people around watching as needles were inserted into my testicles. I discovered then that it was also strangely exciting also.
Over the years, my wife and I continued to add medical fetish play to our sexual diet. She could be a very sadistic nurse if she wanted to be. As we aged, we experimented with play PESA and TESA procedures, as well as injections of saline and sterile water. All were very exciting and memorable, and I miss those times.
After her death, I didn't give it much thought until reading about the increasing number of people that are interested in attaining a gender neutral status. When I mentioned my interest in reducing my male persona to my primary care physician, he prescribed Spironolactone. We played with the dosage for a few months, but I have been at castrate level for testosterone for almost a year now, and am enjoying the changes.
Long story short, I'm ready for surgical orchiectomy, and am open to advise and information. I have e mailed and spoken with several doctors in the US, Mexico, India, and the Philippine's. I'm starting to be confused and frustrated with who does, and who does not require WPATH screening and letters. It really seams like a medical racket to me, to get your shrink buddy more business. It looks like Dr. A, and Dr. M will perform the surgery without formal letters. I also cant really get a straight answer from one doctor in California.
Any advise and referral's will be greatly appreciated, as will recommendations.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Proceeding towards surgery as the next step.

Re: Proceeding towards surgery as the next step.
Very interesting story. Thank you.
There are coincidences.
