Depends on your activity level, and calorie intake, and metabolism.

I began exercising again recently to combat the 20 pounds I gained, following the COVID lockdown, as well as general lack of energy because of low testosterone due to being on Androcur.

I still have low testosterone, and it is harder to lose weight, not impossible I may say. I’m aiming at running 3km. Three times a week, sometimes only manage twice due to long work hours, and be careful with calorie intake.

I have managed to lose around 6 pounds so far, but it’s hard work, and if I’m not careful, they come straight back

It is very hard to tell. Generally there will be some fat gain. But it seem to vary a lot. Some might even loose weight, while not gaining fat they loose muscle mass. But some people seem to gain a lot. It makes me think that not only life style is the factor. It is also genetic whether or how much you gain fat. You should look at your parents, how much did they gain fat when they got older... when their hormonal levels dropped. Or were you a fat boy before puberty.

For example I did not gain any fat during my 5month androcur trial. I noticed some fat redistribution but generally there was no weight gain. But then again, I chose physically active period of year for my trial.
