Cosmetic Increase in Testicle Size

This thread is informational only.
From time to time the issue of increasing the size of the contents of the scrotum is raised on the forum.
There is an FDA-approved cosmetic testicular enhancement available. It is a serious medical procedure that "clamps" a shell around a man's existing testicle and is only preformed on men to create the appearance of normal-sized testicles.
Some men have testicles that are much smaller than average. Others might have one small testicle that is functional but, much smaller than the other.
In a strange twist, men can experience smaller testicles because as men age, testosterone levels can drop and this can cause health issues including depression and loss of libido. A doctor will often prescribe hormone replacement therapy. Testosterone replacement gives the testicles a break and they will decrease in size - sometimes dramatically.
There are multiple urologists around the United States that will perform this procedure. The article below is taken from one urologist's website.

...a testicular enlargement procedure that uses an implant that wraps around ones existing testicle to expand its size. This is different than a testicular implant procedure where a missing testicle is replaced. Testicular enlargement is done using a specially designed bivalved silicone implant that opens up like a clamshell to envelope ones existing testicles and is closed down around it. This increases the size of the testicles by adding an implant layer around it. An opening for the vas deferens and the neurovascular pedicle remains at the top of the enveloping implant to keep these important structures intact and not to be pinched or compromised as the clamshell implant is closed around it.
