Eunuch Archer's Update

Those who have been following the thread, "After Five Years, Prostate Cancer Attacked Again," will know I'm getting both barrels, Lupron every 4 months, and Apalutamide daily. The Lupron injections are painless, and the effect is almost immediate.
I just had my second shot of Lupron yesterday and went to the archery
range today. Gadzooks, the fatigue!! I shot 30 arrows, and they felt like 90. The Apalutamide further complicated shooting because the numbness of my hands made nocking the arrows difficult. Now I know why both oncologists seemed awestruck when I told them I planned to continue to practice archery. My bow draws only 45 #.
The last shoot before we lose the range is 9 days away. I only hope I don't embarrass myself or the club. Stay tuned.
