New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard makes Olympic history as a transgender athlete.
I would think it would be unfair to let any one with testicles to compete as women in any athletic events regardless of her testosterones level, either 10 nanomoles per liter or 5 nanomoles per liter. The person should have been surgically castrated for at least one year to compete as female. Even then, there is an advantage for a person who developed from adultescent with massive amount of testosterone that changes bone structure and muscle structures/distribution. It is biological science, not political science.

The chromosome set in modern athletes (XX, XY) every year has less and less influence on the results ... Everyone uses anabolic steroids and have learned to hide this fact from the checks of medical commissions. Amateur sports have long turned into a professional sport.

Bone and muscle density still favors male.
I saw a photo from the recent Pacific Games where Hubbard was on the # 1 podium, and # 2 & # 3 were women from Samoa. The looks on their faces told it all. A combination of several emotions. Neither could raise their eyes. A look of disbelief, wtf, clown world, etc, etc.
I then noticed where Somoa pulled their team a week prior to the Games citing Covid, yadda-yadda, but I took it as a response to Hubbard. By the way, the look on Hubbard’s face wasn’t much better. He looked kind of half-embarrassed. That photo seems to have been scrubbed from the web. Censorship has kicked into high gear, it seems.
Likewise, these games are a joke. It’s all about narrative. Total Fucking Clown World. Someone said an American won five gold medals, but all I keep hearing about is a gymnast that quit, and pissed-off athletes protesting on the podium.
Politics has taken all the fun out of ALL Sports, for me. Nowadays, it’s all about agenda and narrative, instead of competition.

You are likely right, Stevenator, but let's not go there.
As far the political aspect of having TG athletes, that could well be thread in the proper section. However, it would have to stay on topic.

The fact you misgendered this woman says all I need to know about the opinion you shared. And for someone who says their interest in their profile is transgender people, I find it odd you would do that.
