Asking for feedback.

Post by Crossbowman (imported) »

Good day (night, evening, morning, whatever).

May I humbly ask if some kind (or not) soul could give my worthless story a friendly (or even not so friendly) feedback? I am not sure if I should bother anyone with my text. Actually, main question: is text workable, is it worth to try something with it, or should I just throw it into garbage?

English is not my native language, probably it was not the best idea to write in it. However, I got a certain interest in writing English text. I am sorry if, despite my efforts, text does look like a mess.

I should mention that story may be described as consensual and willing. It kinda works for me. I am afraid that it may seems too sweet. It is intended as sweet but, as I do not feel English properly, I could pour too much sugar and candies. I am... curious, does it looks just horrible or inacceptably horrible.

Humbly awaiting for answer.

I am not an experienced person in communication through internet so, please, forgive my incompetence.

I may see two ways of providing my text for observation to particular person. I may try to send a WordPad text file through email. Or I may try to send a personal message via forum interface, text is not that long and it should fit, I guess. Please, if there are other comfortable and safe ways, tell me where I should learn them.

You will need to send the document to bella, our editor, at: [email protected]

He will then go over it and post it.

First of all, it's great to post a story in a language that is not your native tongue. Technology/translation aside, that is a bold step.

You did it well. A few errors with grammar, but that is easily overlooked and perfectly acceptable. After all, we are not a posh publication service!

The story strikes several chords that (as research has shown) our readers like. The foremost is that it's a short and to the point story, 1 standalone part, and the buildup (around 50% of the text) is just right. Fans of the "F" tag will like it, as will fans of the "Penec." theme. It also has a nice twist.

I would encourage you to continue, if you want to. Feedback for authors has always been an issue for this site, so don't let that discourage you. The system does not inform the author if there are ratings or comments, though. You will have to look manually.
