Hi, I’m wondering if anyone has any experience using estrogen gel. I have 3 bottles of it and use it twice a day on my inner thighs and underarms as I’ve read about. I’m just wondering if I should be using it more for HRT because the directions say twice a day. Also, is there any better place to use it? I’ve used it for about 26 days now and all I can say is that my nipples are sore everyday and I lactate throughout the day, but I was having these same things happen while taking estrogen pills and androcur. I'm taking gel for several months. Before that I was using patches for a longer period and years ago pills. Sometimes I combined the estrogen with an antiandrogen. Sometimes I took just an anriandrogen withourät anything else. All I can say is, that to me gel seems to be the most gentle way with the lowest risk. Even more gentle than patches. As I'm an older dude who doesn't want to fully transition, slight effects are ok. But I think for a trans person who want's to fully feminize it might be by far not enough

What effects did you experience using the gel? I’ve been using it for about two months and I can say that I have a slightly lower libido and sore nipples. Also where did you typically apply it and how many times per day? Thanks

@Sconikink, What are your objectives of using estrogen gel? Sounds like you've been on hormones for some time.

No objection to using it. Just wondering if I’m using it correctly for best results and to hear others experiences with using it. I still lactate a bit and can squeeze out a few drops. I didn’t get this while taking pill form.

When I was taking it It used it mainly on my arms. If I remember correctly, it also suggested to use on the leg and stomach. If you are doing any of those, then you are doing it correctly. My breasts have grown (now a 38B and while I would like bigger, they seem to have reached the max. I now take a 2mg pill a day, under the tongue.

I fear my actual growth has stalled, but I’m experiencing gains by taking micronized progesterone, msm, collagen, calcium, vitamin c & D3. I’m in my 15th month of taking E2, after 4.5 years of PM.
