I did hear that his fees have gone through the roof, So he may be moving away from it now.

I hadn't been to his website in a few months. I never had the courage to give him a call, but he was always my "plan b" for castration. I am finally working with a therapist and will soon have a letter to be able to get an orchiectomy from another doctor.

248 885 4270, I have him on speed dial and this is his private cellphone. Between 5am and 9pm he is responding usuly within minutes (calls or texts) if he is not in a surgery than it can take up to 2 hours.

I called him a couple of weeks ago. He quoted me $3700.

I'm glad to see/hear Dr. Arnkoff is still in business. I know he's up there in years, definitely close to retirement- Anyone who is on the fence about moving forward should take advantage of his availability while they can. He's the best choice IMO for those seeking the path of least resistance while getting it down by a licensed professional as opposed to a cutter.

If I recall something I read a while back and take it with a grain of salt, he is training someone else to do this for after his retirement.

The issue isn't one of training. An orchiectomy is a procedure that any competent urologist or surgeon should be perfectly capable of performing without any specialized training beyond what they have received in the process of obtaining a medical license. The issue is finding one who is willing to perform the operation on an informed consent basis. If he is "training" someone who isn't a licensed physician, they are nothing more than a cutter which completely defeats the purpose of seeking out someone like Dr. Arnkoff.

I had read this from someone's personal account of their surgery, I can't recall who. The person he was training I believe was another doctor but I don't know if that meant they were fresh out of urology school or what, but they were supposed to be another member of the medical profession and not a cutter.
