Hello world
Hi there all!
Long-time lurker here (my accounts keep getting deactivated for inactivity, I assume.)
I first got turned onto castration topics reading the book "Valide" by Barbara Chase-Riboud. There's an extended scene where a priest very clinically describes the process of castration in the Ottoman Empire and, well, it got a very young me feeling funny. Googled around and found this place, particularly the Fiction Archive.
Don't know what's considered TMI for the welcome page, so sorry if I've already crossed the line up there. I also suffer from hypogonadism, so while I was born with all the pieces, I've been on HRT since I was in my early 20s (33 now). Sterile too.
Despite that, I'm fairly comfortable with my gender identity (man, he/him). Still, lately I've been really curious about Male-to-Eunuch.
Just, idk, something I keep thinking about.
Well, that's it for there! Hope to be a more active member of the community, and thanks for having this space going.

Re: Hello world
Welcome ToTheQuick,
You ll find all kinds of information on this website to help you explore your feelings and ideas about castration. Your initial post is just right. You anticipated the first questions most men are asked when they join, how long have you been thinking about castration ? How did you first turn on to this ? And what are you seeking on here ? Those help members know what might be useful for you.
This summer heat reeling out every man s balls so long hanging and swinging big sure has more men thinking about losing their two balls and chains.

Well, like I said, long-time lurker, so I've seen a few welcome threads. I appreciate the kind regards, and yeah, that heat ain't helping the 'ol block and tackle put up a strong argumentum a fortiori .
It's been really interesting to read some threads and see different people's perspectives on eunuch-transgenderism (third-genderism?).

Concerning me the term "third-genderism" quite approaches. Since young years I considered myself sexless and did not want to have own children though it was physically absolutely healthy. Mine the brother and the sister lead happy family life: they have children and grandsons. I avoid long contacts with them not to set a bad example.

Re: Hello world
Did the hrt work good for masculinizing your body in your early 20s ? Did your puberty occur before your gonads stopped working ? Or did you get put on HRT after not achieving puberty by your early 20s ? I m wondering if your balls were working for you and then stopped working ? Or if they never worked for you since birth ? After 13 years of full time HRT, I m guessing your testicles are atrophied and purely decorative block and tackle for you from now on ? Your well filled out profile says that you are straight, so I m hoping that you have been very popular among the women because of being safely sterilized from such a young age ? Most competing straight men are rarely sterilized in their early 20s or younger. So I m hoping women have really very much appreciated your rare ability to make love seedlessly, and from a very young age when few men could offer that safety for them ? Did you advertise that rare ability as a teen or young man to enjoy more sex and barebacking fun for women ?

I experience a belated and light puberty. I didn't get my first erection/ejaculation until I was 14. My voice dropped enough to be considered "masculine," but I had trouble growing body hair and regulating my weight, despite diet and exercise (I'm also hypothyroid). My testicles were already quite underdeveloped. Even when I was able to achieve erections, they were rare and soft. Good enough for masturbation but not much else. Funnily, the first thing that made me consider something might be wrong was the "Morning Wood" song on Robot Chicken. Made me realize that for this gag to be worth the effort, morning wood must be ubiquitous, and I had never had it (18 years old at this point).
Had to spend about two years arguing with endocrinologists. My t-levels were considered "low normal" (300ng/dl, right on the borderline), but obviously it wasn't doing the job.
When I began HRT I grew more facial hair (though a full, luscious beard seems out of the cards). I lost 60 pounds in about three months and, while I've gained some of it back, diet and exercise actually work. And I now regularly experience the "joy" of morning wood.
You are correct that my testicles don't amount to much, but I've had hypogonadism my whole life so they never really did. I am indeed sterile, though I didn't think to test that prior to starting HRT so I can't say which is the cause.
Sadly, my dating life has always been nonexistent. Too shy, too nervous, lacking in many social graces, and extreme body dysmorphia, a carryover from my pre-HRT weight troubles. Even though I'm now of fairly average weight (size Large t-shirts), I just don't... see that.
Thankfully I've had very encouraging platonic female friends who've helped me build my self-esteem, so I'm trying out some dating apps. I have heard that being sterile is a bonus, but I'm not sure what's the best way to carry that across.

Thanks for sharing your perspective!
May I ask, how do you feel your identity impacts how you present to others, if at all?
Like, do you think about clothing and makeup through that lens?
Have you ever thought about getting the kind of voice training trans-women get?
These are some of the things I've been thinking about as I contemplate a (maybe) third-gender identity.
Also, sorry, this might be better to ask in the Dysphoria or Politics of Gender fora.

Hey @ToTheQuick,
Welcome out of the shadows. Lurking is fine but, becoming a part of the community here has so many benefits.
Have you been tested for Klinefelter Syndrome? It is a genetic cause and is sometimes referred to as XXY syndrome. Most males have XY chromosomes and men with Klinefelter's have XXY chromosomes. There is no doubt that Klinefelter men are still males, it's just that the extra "X" chromosome is there as well.
I suggest it because the description of your late-onset puberty, your body hair distribution, your fat distribution, your sterility, and your fight with ED all are symptoms of Klinefelter Syndrom (XXY Syndrome). Only a DNA test will give you the answer. Then, there are solutions to fertility and other issues. Most men with Klinefelter's don't know they have it until they are having difficulty conceiving a child with their wife.
Again, welcome home.
TMFL

I always liked classical music. I even participated in city children's choir.
In clothes I tried to look as the man. I lived with parents who did not welcome visits of girls to us home. I tried to offend nobody the indifference. I understood that I am asexual much later.
