You know, this is really not the place for this, but here goes anyway. I think that it is high time that a website that displays the results of FGM in jpeg form for the world to see.
Somebody needs to get a website set up for FGM with examples, testimonials and yes, pictures of FGM, so that everybody understands the consequences and the problem.
I think that none of it hits home until one sees the pics. It is just as Jesus posted after I am sure he looked at the site that I posted with the mutilated penises.
In so many words....when you see it, it hits home and it hits home HARD!
It is one thing to willingly modify one's self...but in Somalia 98-99% of the females have had their clitorises cut. AS CHILDREN!
In Egypt, a so-called "modern" and "moderate" nation the figures of female who have enduredFGM range up to 90%.
The point is here that many on the Archive here admit to having fantasies of "having it all cut off" Some here were scared that this might be done to them.
THE SUM OF ALL OF OUR FEARS HERE ON THE ARCHIVE IS HAPPENING TO INNNOCENT LITTLE GIRLS ALL OVER THE WORLD!
It is simply not sufficient to stop the removal of the forskins of INNOCENT boy babies.
We need to see to it that the other half of humanity has some hope of keeping their genitalia. What is being done to the little girls many, many times worse than what is being done to the little boys, but what is being done to the little boys is bad enough!
