I wonder if it was touch on the subject of castration? People don't give a second thought to neutering animals so what would they think of neutering a boy/animal hybrid?

To create human/animal hybrids? It is simply awful!

It looks like more hollywood vile and corrupting propaganda in movies, TV, and video games that is blatently trying to dehumanize humans to claim that intense violence toward other humans is acceptable because they are zombies, vampires, witches, criminals, aliens, mutants, diseased, etc. ....... any excuse they can come up with.

Fascists are trying to change cultural morals that forbid intense cruelty and violence toward other humans. They want to encourage and normalize unlimited cruelty and violence to be accepted by western cultures.

I'll admit, the trailer was enticing. The hero is adorable. And therein lies the turnoff as well.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm tired of aliens, monsters, superheroes, and the like in movies/TV.

It's as if the industry has run out of ideas. To a certain extent, I have to agree with cutnbulls2ox.

To address Atreyu's question, they might mention breeding/sterilization, but I seriously doubt there'll even be one serious neutering conversation. However, one would expect that to be a hot topic in a universe like this, especially at the beginning of the hybridization process.

Then again, from a religious standpoint, it's quite a "days of Noah" topic, for those that have explored research into that area.

Since the whole world is becoming an argument in favor of selective breeding, maybe the creators of this new series will want to make that a major theme in this series ? Making it more acceptable by neutering half animals ? Especially since it is usually the more responsible males who use sterilization to limit how many kids they have. Someone should be trying to reach the less responsible males and show them the benefits of voluntary sterilization for men and women.
