Hi everyone,

I've been registered as a member on this forum for a couple of years, however, I have never posted on here before.

I finally had the guts to talk to my therapist about nullification/gender dysphoria, and she reacted in quite a positive way, however is inexperienced in this field. I'm currently looking for someone else qualified to help me and my biggest wish come true. I have experienced the desire for a lack of genitals since early childhood, and am glad that I'm finally able to make a little progress in being able to talk to someone about it. But it seems like it's a damn long and hard journey, which is quite frustrating.

I want to thank T van Keel in this thread, as reading through his forum posts has given me a lot of hope that I may become a nullo in the future. If any of you have some advice on proceeding with this process in Germany or recommendations regarding therapists etc. I would highly appreciate them (Feel free to PM/mail me!).

Many thanks to everyone offering valuable help to people who are in need of this surgery, without you guys, I think I would have never told anyone.

This is it for now, I intend to post some more in the future and keep you guys updated :)

Have a good day everyone!

Welcome to posting on here. Its great to have more people and new people joining the regular posters on here. It is not nearly as tough writing things for other people to see your private ideas and feelings on here as most people think it will be. Anonimity and a welcoming group of readers makes it easy for anyone to share their thoughts and ideas on here. And most people will discover how many readers on here will really enjoy and share their ideas.

Sharing that long and hard journey with others sometimes makes it easier for you or for someone else.

It sounds like finally being able to talk with people about your feelings, ideas, and desires has been really helpful and positive for you. Your bravery is paying you big benefits !

Hi Arrowinden!

I am German, too. I've had an orchiectomy abroad in 2016 and am currently pursuing genital surgery including scrotectomy and penectomy with a German surgeon (not firmed up yet). I'd call myself more non-binary trans (agender) than eunuch/nullo, and I'm asexual, too.

I cannot advise on specific therapists, since I never underwent psychotherapy. I know a few names, but it depends very much on where in Germany you are if they're helpful. But I have to say my physicians and my psychiatrist are often new to the issue, but at least open and accepting about my status and future plans. It's not as bad as one might think (at least not in all cases).

I'm personally more active in the area of non-binary (amab) visibility and general trans rights in Germany, a lot is going on there at the moment, not too positive unfortunately.

Anyway, if you have questions or want to stay in touch, you're welcome.
