Surgical Castration is Getting Easier to Obtain

Poking around the internet last night I came across a plastic surgeon in Atlanta, Georgia who offers castration with no requirements other than you write him a letter detailing your desires and understanding. This may be of interest to those living in the S.E. USA. No idea what he charges but I believe the going rate is $1,200 - $1,500. His website is:

Seanthomas,
Thank you so much for the tip. I'm in the UK and elective orchiectomy is impossible to obtain legally. I certainly want a qualified person working on me in appropriate facilities with the correct hygiene procedures as well as proper aftercare.
I'm in the process of writing to srsatlanta to see if they will accept an overseas patient. I'll let the forum know what they say.
Just wanted to add that the EA has added a whole nee dimension to my life and my quest to rid myself of my diagnosed hyper-sexuality.
Regards Steve
PS has anyone here used srsatlanta?

I only found them poking around google. Once the COVID nonsense is over you'll have the benefit of cheap flights from the UK. One problem you'll face coming over for the surgery is that you'll need someone to be with you the day of and night after the surgery. You could probably hire a care giver for a fraction of the cost of additional airfare for a mate, or find someone living near Atlanta like Sevenator willing to hang out with you for a day. I recovered from my bilateral orchi in just a few days so it's not something that would be an issue flying back home.

On this website, search for "Fara" (as in Dr. Fara Movagharnia). You will find a lot of posts about him. Everything I read so far is positive. One mentioned that the cost will be at least $5000.
The thing that makes this so expensive is that he requires an anesthesiologist and the surgery center fee (outpatient clinic). Dr. Arnkoff, doing this in his office with local anesthesia, saves a lot of money.
A surgery center often charges $2500 or more. In Texas that is called a facility fee. For my surgery, I called the center here to to ask the cost and they quoted $2700. Before the surgery they called me to go over the price $5400. The woman tried to clam that it's because I have two testicles (price per testicle X 2). That was crazy and it finally was sorted out. The point is to ask about the surgery center and if Dr. Fara Movagharnia's office pays them or if you get billed.
In my case, there was a doctor's fee, a surgery center fee, an anesthesia fee. and a biopsy fee. They were all billed to me separately. Insurance paid for part of it in my case.
People should also consider
https://www.restoremedcenter.com/ (Dr. Whitehead). The surgery surgery center is part of the office. There are pictures of it on the website.
Dr. Whitehead is married to (and runs the clinic with) a Yale trained anesthesiologist (Dr. Ramirez). Again they do their surgery in house. This clinic is now devoted to transgender/gay patients.

Letters are required but I am sure it depends on the age of the patient and the interview with Dr. Whitehead.

I posted the info on the Atlanta place just to show that doctors are increasingly willing to do castrations without making folks jump through a bunch of expensive "therapist letter" hoops. But damn! Five grand is a lot for a simple surgical procedure. My orchiectomy was just over $1,500 (covered by insurance / $200 co-pay) and to have my scrotum removed was only $1,200 (cash).

My doctor only got about 1/4 of the $6000 cost of mine. The rest went to the facility fee and anesthesia.
I chatted with a guy in Virginia. His doctor did his in the office with a local. He also told me that his doctor had done many at a veteran's hospital for patients with prostate cancer. They probably wanted to avoid the risk of general anesthesia.
Doctors offering castration is probably more common than you think. It's kept very quiet and not advertised. If there is a reasonable explanation, a lot of doctors will do the procedure. They want it kept private.
My doctor offered the castration option to me. It was only after he met me and understood my situation. I am certain he does not want me to post his name here and advertise that he offered it. He does not want a reputation that he will do it with few questions asked.

Yes, unfortunately drs are a bunch of jackels who are eager to criticize and stab each other in the back. They stifle progress and intimidate each other into following the same old procedures with patients.
Look at this current virus. The medical establishment forces patients to follow the same clearly failed treatment plans that often lead to death. Any drs trying innovative new treatments are gang attacked by other drs or regulatory toads to prevent any innovation or progress in patient care. While the death toll continues to climb higher under the establishment s failed treatment procedures.
In a free, capitalist country the patient should be in charge of their own body and care decisions. Those patients pay the bills.
In this virus, the drs and medical regulatory toads are violating the patients rights, denying all patient access by relatives, relatives who legally have next of kin medical decision rights, and dictate care decisions of patients, all contrary to democratic freedom and the patients paying the medical bills under capitalism.

Very unlikely as the airlines have retired most of their large jets which became uneconomical when the pandemic hit. It will take some time for cheap flights to become available again, if it ever happens.

Thanks Sean for sharing with us pre-eunuchs about Dr. Fara Movagharnia.
It's a big help not dealing (and paying off) gender gatekeeper shrinks and doctors, I rather pay surgeon and anesthesiologists.
