Castration and COVID

I have a couple questions about COVID and a couple observations.

I find since being castrated, I don't get sick as often as I used to. Whether that is because I have been Social distancing already or not having testosterone strengthened my immune system. I don't know. When I do get sick. The colds seem to last longer and hit me harder than they used to.

Has anyone run across any information on this? Are we in one of those "Co-morbidity" classifications or are we good to go? What have you experienced?

The reason I ask, is in November last year, I got pummeled by a cold that wouldn't go away. Eventually I was taken to the hospital, and treated for Pneumonia. When the tests came out, I got my doc to test me for COVID and I tested positive. WOOOO HOOOO!! I survived the virus? BTW immunity is only temporary, so I am living a very cautious life.

Tell me what you know. There are lots of people on these boards that are far better informed than I.

The PCR tests can be a bit misleading in fact the person who invented the procedure did not recommend their use for mass testings,

The problem is they are looking for material that could be related to cov19 but are unable to isolate the thing itself, you get false positives as a result.

It is what it is and that's the only technology we have at the moment to monitor this thing.

November seems a bit early for this variant but they found it in mink in Denmark so it could have been around back then and we simply weren't looking for it.

I think I had mine back in late March, but testing back then was a bit spotty in the UK and never got checked.

Although it's a contentious issue in the States I am unable to wear a mask as it causes anxiety so carry an exemption card (and a lucky stone threaded through the lanyard) so to this end, I am breathing in the same unfiltered air as I was a year ago

I have not lived under a rock and when I'm out and about I don't freak out if someone gets too close to me I have been in environments where there has been a lot of people out and about and have only since managed to catch a cold a month ago, but on the whole, I am no worse than I was before.

I am on normal TRT at the moment, I have heard conflicting reports on how much hormone levels influence your immune system

On a final note, there have only been 5 known cases globally (If UK media is to be believed) of relapse to date so if you get it again you will be pretty unlucky.
