Stopping HRT

I was castrated in January and have been on testosterone gel every day since. My boyfriend (the one who killed my nuts before they were removed) and I have decided to have me go off testosterone gel for at least a month to see how my body reacts. I'm excited to see how my natural state is now that I'm a eunuch.

I was wondering what I will probably experience in the coming weeks to couple months. Any advice, expectations, or such from people who have gone off HRT would be great. Thanks!

I've been on HRT since 2015. Stressful job killed "the boys" completely. My T was low, less than half the minimum normal range. In the 6 months before, I had VERY poor memory, ZERO energy, and always felt like I just woke up.

Maybe hotflashes at night and fatigue.

Lesser erections and maybe an itching in your nipples.

One month without any hormons is probably not too dangerous but don't continue it too long to avoid bone loss!

One solution if you are not scarred to permanently lose erections and to grow breasts is to get estrogen and progesterone.

Good luck

Life on estradiol and progesterone has been incredible for me. I still have partially functional testicles, but the female hormones suppress T. I always knew I'd like having no sex drive and hardly any body hair, but my mental state is fantastic and I just love my developing breasts. The last part surprised me, but I had to experience them before falling in love with them. It sounds impossible, but I have enjoyed giving myself orgasms with nipple stimulation. I still see myself as male, but with an uninhibited female side. Everyone is different, but this is perfect for me.

Between my residual T and female hormones, bone loss is unlikely, but I'm being monitored by an endocrinologist to be sure. One thing I will never do is take T supplements.
