Hello

Post by JustMe (imported) »

Hi

New member here. Looking forward to get to know you

A bit about me

I'm 48, married and with two kids, and got snipped (sterilized) just after my second son was born, some 12 years ago.

I tried chemical castration for almost six months, and I actually liked the effect it had on me on several levels.

I chose to stop the chemicals at around the six month mark, I read elsewhere that going longer could result in a permanent solution, and I wanted to evaluate my experience from this short period, before doing anything permanent.

Hey @WantToBe,

Welcome home.

There is so much to learn here. I recommend the sticky notes at the top of each forum.

Also, remember there are four "parts" to eunuch.org - This Forum, The Fiction Archives, The Chat, The Personals.

This Forum does have light moments. However, here is the place for the most serious discussions.

Take a look around, read some posts and check-in with us.

Also a married man. We did a four year chemical trial that turned out to be a way of life. After your six-month experiment you should have gotten a flavor if it is right for you and the relationship. In our case I was monitored by our doctor.

There are no solid evidence of chemical castration being permanent at any set duration. My wife read that long-term hormone use can be unhealthy. Hence my orchiectomy. By then, not a big deal.
