Where to complain about freepdfconvert.com?

I am applying for a refi and they ask for scans of actual signed documents for two years of income taxes because the IRS is not doing confirmation electronically (COVID). I got the documents from my CPA as encrypted pdfs which my printer does not do. I figured I would convert to WORD, print signature sheets, sign, scan, insert back into the WORD document and send. That led to the kind of down the rabbit hole total loss of time that modern technology can bring you. I would like to know if there is any place I can complain that would make a difference?

First the good guys – simplypdf.com simple and works.

Now for the others. Two sites skip to asking for a credit card to get X days free. Not for me, but at least they got to the point. The hands down worst of the lot was freepdfconvert.com. You upload your first pdf and I opened it and it appeared ok and I stored it. So I tried to upload number two (two years personal and business) and it says they only do one free per hour. So I do the rest of my day around uploading a document periodically and stored them all. The next day when I got down to the print, sign, etc part, I found they only converted the first two pages and page 3 gave their url so you could sign up with a credit card.

I was pissed. Wasted a day doing something I really dislike doing.

So, you tech types, is there any place I can complain that maybe others would see about the fine ladies and gentlemen of freepdfconvert.com?

I am not sure where you found those links.

First, if the link description was misleading, you can complain to the search engine you found them on.

Also, beware that many of the very first links search engines list are paid advertisements. I almost always scan down the list to get past the ads before I select an online tool.

Think Google. Probably explains a lot that on the once do-no-harm company.
