After I shower this morning Ill put on my first legitimately prescribed estradiol patch. Finding a doctor to accommodate me was not as hard as I had thought. Im much happier being supervised rather than self medicating.

.0357mg / day is the starting dose to be adjusted if needed in 90 days. I had previously used .05mg that was prescribed to my wife and it seemed to work just fine. Had some boob growth especially around the nipples but otherwise it seemed a good dose. We'll see how this lower dose works.

Thanks for the details - helpful.
As you have previously experienced oestrogen, and know the beneficial effects, I expect you are looking forwards to the coming weeks. I hope to follow this route over the next year.

I started Climara .025 patch last month and just got my first blood test results my estradiol is 30 pg/dl he was aiming for 40 pg/dl to start with, I see the Endocrinologist tomorrow and will be asking for the .0357 patches to see what that does. I've been having hot flashes ever since I started the patches after stopping the estrogen cream.

I read your recent blog posts and I wanted to tell you that I think you’ll be fine. 90% of men who start HRT, especially those past 30, never get above a B-cup. You stated that your dose is low, and I’m unsure the tablet equivalent, but you should be fine.
I’m waiting on my retirement to be 100% officially settled, and then I’m going to search out an endocrinologist to get blood work, etc. Right now I am DIY. Two months to be exact. Although I did do a DIY NBE Herbal Program for years, I’m doing a fairly standard prescribed dose of 6mg a day. I am looking fwd to getting under a doctors care.
But, I’m a decent sized B-cup myself, and I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I constantly check my look in the mirror, especially when going out. No one notices. I recently wore a pullover polo that definitely showed. No one noticed. Button up shirts, especially dark and plaids, hide and conceal fairly well. When you present yourself as male, then people will see you as male.
We’re of similar build. One thing else to remember is men have larger chests. I call it barrel chested. We have big rib cages. That in itself spreads any breast tissue out. You don’t get as much projection. Plus, sports bras do have a flattening effect.
We’re also of similar outlook. I started out with NBE as a curiosity. I don’t consider myself TG. I guess I’m like your doctor says, non-binary. I hate labels, too. I run a small homestead of sorts. I’ve got a large garden that keeps us well fed throughout the year and I’m about to start raising chickens. Farming is hard work. I’m going to run a chainsaw a little later today. I pride myself on being male as much as the next guy. But, I’ve shaved my legs for 20 years and I’ve worn homemade skirts and utility kilts for 8 years. I love the freedom of a kilt and I like being smooth. You’ll never catch me in makeup. I’ll say this, ever since the lockdown started, it has been nice wearing a skirt/kilt 24/7. I’d love to be able to wear one out on rare trips to the store, etc, but I don’t.
Unfortunately, while I used to have billiard ball sized nuts and a battering ram sized cock, that is no more. I tried the herbal route thinking I could save that but it didn’t work. My gamble failed. The funny thing is, I saw your pre-doctor video and you’re bigger than me. Haha.
So, to wrap this up. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Enjoy both sides of the fence. You’re on a low enough dose that overtly feminization is unlikely. I will say that when I started out, a low dose just didn’t feel right for me. You might consider bumping up a tad after your next bloodwork. The higher dose for me feels so much more better now.
I’m 58 now. I’m not expecting any major changes. I’ve had a lifetime for testosterone to lock in my changes. Much younger folk get the major facial changes and lots of TGs resort to facial survey to complete the look. So, while fat shifting might make us look younger, I won’t be changing my name to Darlene.
Congrats on the wife being onboard and enjoy those patches. After having my T crushed flat for the past four years, being on Estrogen now is such a mental and physical relief.

I started my legit script of estrogen patch and micronized progesterone on Saturday.
I get rechecked on my homes in a month.

I took phytoestrogens for four years. They gave me a small B-cup, though extremely dramatic looking snoopy/droopy boobs. The whole main reason I switched to HRT, was for Progesterone, which is said to enhance the look of MTF HRT Breasts. Let me tell you, in less than a month’s time, PG dramatically improved the look of myboobs. They look “normal” now. I’m shocked how fast it worked.
Though, from all that I’ve studied over time, it’s advised to start PG after you’ve reached Tanner Stage Two or Three. Anything sooner can stunt growth.
On another note to ST .... if you’re interested ... I’m an active guy myself. My main yard work shirt is a sleeveless t-shirt. I had an issue today working in the yard where I swung by a friend’s down the road. He’s basically my small engine mechanic. He came over to the house to tinker on my tractor and we picked a bunch of vegetables for his family.
Not once did he notice myboobs. I say this as, people will perceive you as you are. You crossed my mind today as this was happening.
Take care and congrats.
(I cracked a gallon of home made honey wine meade tonight. Haha. Good stuff)

Thanks Stevenator. The hiding of breasts (38B) is something I do every day and I have never had any comments. I dress in an intended male way but my jeans, socks, panties are all female and I am always taken for a man. As you say, it is the role you take that determines how you are seen.
in the final 2 months of my transition year I added Progesterone to my oestrogen to try and increase the nicely growing pair. I think it was starting to work before I stopped but I noticed something else. My sleeping and dreaming altered. Normally I rarely am aware of dreams but a couple of weeks in I found I was sleeping deeper and having lovely comforting dreams. I felt really happy when I awoke every morning as the Progesterone seemed to add to the softness that the oestrogen gave me.
Now, after many years of not taking hormones I still have pretty nicely shaped breasts, but they do need filling out a little so your experiences after a short time are of great interest to me.
