As a boy I always loved The Twilight Zone and I was always a little bit disappointed that they never had anything in it about castration which was of course my greatest fear. I suppose I could write some stuff along those lines now. But anyone who loved the show needs to watch this.

Don't you just love the creepy little ghost boy?

That was awesome. It totally reminded me of " a stop at Willerby". The child is adorable.

There's another TZ episode in the original series that had a newlywed couple cleaning out the husband's recently-deceased mother's house. The Husband keeps finding reminders of his childhood, including clothing. His wife gets tired of it and accuses him of wishing he were back home living with Mommy. Fight ensues; she storms into the bedroom. Later, she enters the living room, looks upstairs, and sees...

… The dead Mother, holding the hand of her 10 year old little boy, who stares angrily at his now-former wife. Mother tells her to go away, she's not needed anymore, and the boy laughs at her and tells her to 'go back home, I belong here with Mom".

I saw the episode as a kid not much older than the kid at the end of the episode, and it created, on its own and out of whole cloth, my still-present fetish for age-regression.

That episode was called, "A Young Man's Fancy" and it made quite an impression on me as well. It delt with unconsomat incest, the desire to be asexual and perhaps castration. The mother holds all the power in that relationship.

But even so it left me with an optimistic feeling. It was saying that you can go home again. You don't have to function as a complete male. You can remain submissive to female authority.
