I have ordered my first supply of oestradiol and spironolactone and will be starting on them when they arrive.

I have a question though for anyone on the heavier side, a lot of the before and after pictures I've seen have been on people will previously small nipples or no chest, but what kind of result does a person like myself with a "head start" so to speak look to gain?

Picture of myself for reference: https://www.photobox.co.uk/my/photo?alb ... 3109207891

Could I potentially be looking at no real change or perhaps an overly drastic one? I've had bloodwork done before and my test is roughly average, yet I have huge areolas, almost no body or facial hair even in my late 20s (still not sure about those results but thats another thing)

When I see the changes some people go through, I've a hard time picturing the same for me when I already have "more" than some people who've spent years on hrt. Wondering if anyone has any insight into this.

FYI, I cannot see the picture.

I'm 68, started with Spiro 2 years ago and E about four months after that. I have some breast growth (A cup) and areola growth. I have what is termed tubular breasts. I'll be asking my doctor about starting progesterone to see if that will round out my breasts.

I've heard from multiple sources that the younger you are when starting E, the better your breasts will grow. But YMMV. It's said that you'll be a size or two smaller than your sister(s) and/or mother.

Sorry never used that image host before, this should be okay: https://ibb.co/M7QVbRq

My mother has pretty large ones, shes been overweight for most of my life so I don't really know how much of that is genetics vs weight either. Though just looking at my own body responding to weight compared to other people at similar weights I can't imagine hrt not being effective.

You certainly do have a good head start. Hard to predict but GG is right about YMMV. Guess you'll have to see. Mine grew into nice shapes and decent size on estradiol and progesterone. Not big enough to need a bra but shirtless is a thing of the past.

I love going shirtless. Society allowing it is another story
