I think I understand something

Not sure if this is the right forum location...
I've read on here about some of you who have gone the full mount and had everything removed. I think you all say after a while you forgot what it felt like to even have a penis.
For the last 20 years I've had various forms of pain from degenerative disks is my lumbar spine and more recently in my neck/cervical spine area.
In 2014 I was having an horrific back episode where my pain was off the scale. Currently I'm having similar pain in my left arm going through the arm down to my fingers..
BUT what I think I understand is why it is like you forget what it felt like to have a penis. I REMEMBER being in extreme pain in 2014 and 2000, but over time I know I had pain but it isn't a visceral memory it is just memory. So now that I'm in extreme pain again, it is like OHHHHHH THAT IS WHAT IT WAS LIKE!
Hope that makes sense and isn't just the ravings of a madman in extreme distress..
