What words do eunuchs and nullos prefer to be called or use themselves ?

Another recent thread brought up the question of using the word eunuch and how should it be used ? Is eunuch a negative connotation word or positive or neutral ?

What terms do modified men prefer, or use themselves, for 1. a castrated man, 2. a man with no penis but having testicles, and 3. a man having no penis or tesicles ?

Since the purpose of words is to convey understanding, most average people don t understand the medical terms for these states of male physical modification. What words will most people understand ?

Fewer people are involved in agriculture today than in the past. So that words like steer, gelding, ox, and similar livestock words for castrated male animals are now understood by fewer people than in past generations. Using just " cut man " can confuse circumcision, sterilization, and castration.

Neutered might be more commonly understood by more people, but is more commonly associated with pets. Emasculated seems to be more usually used today in terms of humiliated or less masculine acting and not for men who are physically altered. And emasculated leaves unknown which organs are affected or how ?

Just interested in people s opinions and personal likes and dislikes on which words to use and how to use them ?

I refer to myself as a nullified eunuch or, if the 'audience' is a little touchy, a nullified male.

I'm not nor ever have been a farm animal so those words have and will never apply. And why do we even need labels anyway?

I think it makes sense to have words that accurately describe the modifications that men have in talking about things on this site. We talk about which people have which modifications all the time in discussions on this website. Hopefully in terms that are comfortable for people.

Personally I think what some may find unflattering, such as animal words, others may find preferable to other terms. I think its mainly a matter of personal preferences. I m asking what people like as well as what they dislike ?

My roommate collectively refers to all of us as "the nutless wonders." I may use that jokingly with people who know what is up, not others. I generally don't tell anyone that they're dealing with a eunuch - generally, none of their business. OTOH, I won't deny or discuss the fact that I am a nutless wonder, and don't really care what others may think - it is none of my business what others think of me.

I fine with people calling themselves whatever they wish, though I tend to get annoyed when people call themselves eunuchs or nullos and have not had the experience of pain from the necessary surgeries.

There are quite a few eunuchs and nullos who can attest my demeanor changes once they have crossed the finish line.

I tend to stick with nonbinary or masc agender because eunuch seems to be too much information for polite conversation. Nonetheless, eunuch is how I describe myself to myself.

I dont really care. Almost no one even knows that there is something missing. Nullo is short and simple but I have no real preference

Yep! You are on the mark as nullo is short. But even more so on your other remark "

".

Which is the point as the question asked was what somebody prefers to be called. If as is the case, nobody even knows something is missing why would we draw attention to the fact that something is missing? Or was that the point indeed? To draw attention to it! If that is the intention then why is it so. I've always believed and said that what goes on in somebody's bedroom is private and of no concern to anyone else so why on earth do we want to draw attention to it.

Since the question asked was what people like or dislike to be called it seems to me like it's simply to bring attention to ourselves as something to be treated differently. I see that as the problem with much of what is going on around the country. Groups of people think they should be treated differently than anybody else. When in reality we are all supposed to be treated equal no matter who or what we are.
