Astroid Heading for Earth - what if?

I've been trying to think of a situation in which I might become a voluntary nullo and I've come up with this.

If an unstoppable extinction event astroid was heading to Earth and was due to hit in one year but all human activity would continue unaltered until that moment I might have myself nullified just to experience what it was like.

Ever since I was a kid I always sort of thought of nullification as an adventure but one I knew I'd never take. But under those conditions I might. What would I have to lose?

How about you? Would you do it?

With only a year before extinction you wouldn't even begin to have a clue of all the changes that take place over time after nullification. Much as you could begin to understand all the change and experiences you would miss if you were suddenly moved from preteen to middle age.

Probably more than you can see you're mocking those of us who have actually done this. 😠

If being nullified means that I'd lose the ability to laugh at myself, if it means that I'd become hypersensitive to any perceived slight than I want nothing to do with it. The price is too high for me.

I'll keep my thrilling fantasies and leave the grim reality to others.

If I had a year to live, I d be having as much sex as I could with my dick. I d be too busy enjoying it to want it cut off. And all bareback with no fears of impregnating since nothing would matter one year later.

People could engage in every activity they wanted and spend like drunken sailors with no fears of surviving or ever needing to pay any bills in the future.

But think of the results if the asteroid missed a year later ? All that living with no future and suddenly you survive.

Somehow this thread is reminding me Hale-Bop and Marshall Applewhite's Heaven's Gate religious teachings.
