There is a new name for Brownstein Crane, which now has offices near San Francisco and in Texas.

It is now known as:

Crane Center for Transgender Surgery (https://cranects.com/)

They are now including nullification, openly, in their menu of services.

This is the practice I went to for my nullification nearly 5 years ago. Though the surgeon I used has moved on to another practice. I was their first nullo, and it was kept hushed, but above board. It seems they are now o.k. with openly doing these surgeries now.

I have no information on current cost for a nullification, or any other male genital reducing surgeries, with them.

They will require letters.

Dr. Crane did mine in Austin on 10/10/19. I was a self pay patient and had some addiitional expenses as I had no one to stay with down there so I had to go with a nursing home who had RN's available.

Penile amputation (a stump) is $5,000 for the Doctor. Complete Penectomy which I had was $9950 and I'd already had the Orchie. The hospital which is same day was $2350 including the anesthesiologist. It's done on a same day surgery out patient basis. So you 'gotta have someone there with you to take you home or where ever and be willing to stay with you for up to 4 weeks. That is the WPATH standard. For the nullo surgery, you will need one letter but they have a number of therapists who they work with that can take care of the letter. I contacted one, had quite a telephone conversation with her and she sent me a questionnaire to fill out. Another call about a week later, more questions and she sent a letter saying that the surgery was a medical necessity. it cost $150.

Rats all, I was typing this late at night without signing in first, when I did it dumped half of what I'd written. I'll ad some more when I'm awake, sorry for not finishing....
