Retracting spermatic cords?

Has anybody else experienced this?... It doesn't happen as frequently now as what it used to, but sometimes, especially after a lot physical movement, I have this feeling that either one or both of my cords are 'retracting' back upwards into my body. When i do get this discomfort, I have to clench my fist, then rub down where the cords would be, as if to push them back down into place.

I had a simple orchi by the way.

I can't remember what Dr Arnkoff said about whether he sutured the cords into place or if they are just hanging there unaffixed.

Or is this just mild cord pain?

No, I don't think I've ever experienced what you're describing.

I get that feeling at times and it's very uncomfortable. I had inlingual orchiotomy and I'm hoping that it will get better with time.

I chose a radical orchiectomy so my cords were removed. I had a quick, perfect recovery. Also, no deformed empty scrotum since it wasn’t cut open.

I get the same feeling too. With time it happens less often but still causes discomfort when it happens. I also went to Dr Arnkoff, I had my orchi done in March 2017.

That's interesting then. I would have assumed without your cords you wouldn't suffer from the same symptom at all.

Yeah, as I said, it does get less frequent and intense over time.

My scrotum appears fine. I can't even see the scars now.

I was castrated through the scrotum with the scrotum removed same time. Most of my cords were snipped off then Dr. sutured them shut. The sutured ends swelled up and felt like tiny little balls up near base of my cock for a week or two. Then they shrank up and disappeared up in my gut. I sometimes had a faint feeling of the cords up in my belly with heavy lifting or exercise, but no real discomfort and even that went away after couple months.

Wow. That sounds intense. Was this with Dr Arnkoff?

I'm not sure if mine actually do go up into my gut, or if they just feel like they are doing it. I hope they never do.

No with with different Dr. here in U.S. I did speak to Dr. Arnkoff but decided to go with a Dr. closer. Dr. Arnkoff may have done it differently.
