I am a 55-years-old married man, my problem is my excessively strong libido, which makes me ask my wife

for more and more things

, then it becomes difficult to live for her, and for me too.
I see only two options to calm this libido, it is the chemical or surgical castration

. I have already read a lot on medical sites, but I especially need the experiences of those who have gone through the same problem as me.
I am here to have feedback on castration. I'm not talking about fantasy and I'm not looking for a joker to have a butcher's knife operation. When the time will arrive, my urologist will do the right thing. I'm going to post on the forums dealing with this subject, I just wanted to introduce myself a little here.
See you soon

Hey @Bernardvincent,
Welcome home. This is exactly the right place to get the answers you are looking for. There are as many reasons people are on this forum as there are people here.
My advice would be to read all the "sticky notes" posts in every forum. Especially the chemical castration information.
I do have some experience with low testosterone levels and being about your age, there are some very unpleasant effects from low T. Also, I was at the start of osteoporosis. With some Androgel and Vitamin D, that's been reversed.
An obvious question would be this: if your wife's libido and yours are matching up, have you considered a palm-ful of lube and taking care of your libido yourself? It would be healthier than castration.
One last point, you cannot private message until you've made five posts. That is one thing new members get curious about. It just gives the moderators a chance to shut down people who aren't serious.
Again, welcome and looking forward to you being an active member here.

I went with chemical castration first for a period of time before my actual castration. I love it, should have done it long ago.
There is a ton of information and about others experiences on this forum. Read, read and read some more. Then if you still have questions, ask, ask, and ask some more.
Welcome

You will find you are not alone in this varied group. Many couples have mismatched libido. With us we first did a chemical trial. After a few years it became a way of life and saved our marriage. Don

Topman brings out the point of five posts. That should be easy. Post about your weather. Movies. Any fiction ideas running around in your head. Other health concerns like IBS, asthma, etc. Any technical concerns with your computer or internet. And so on. This is hardly a one subject only bunch.

Welcome, you are in the right place. My wife and I had the same issue for years and she was the one directly asking if "we" can get rid of the machinery down there.
I am happily castrated for almost 3 years now and purposely growing breasts which is a perfect replacement for the generational sex we had before.
Way to go buddy.
