About fifteen years ago I was in a Barnes & Noble bookstore where I happened to pick a copy of Naturally Magazine. I don’t remember the exact issue but I was more then a bit startled when I flipped it open. There was a full page, full length photo of a smiling, good looking blond ten year old Californian boy named Alex. With this photograph was an accompanying interview.

In the interview Alex explained how happy he was that his parents had resisted social pressure and made the decision to leave him uncircumcised. He said that some people thought circumcision was required for cleanliness, but that was just silly. He said he had no difficulty keeping his penis clean. All he needed to do was wash under the foreskin once a week and that wasn’t difficult. There’s no pain or discomfort in pulling it back.

The boy went on to say that some parents felt they needed to have their boy babies circumcised so they’d look like their friends. But that too was silly. He had friends who were likewise uncut and none of them minded a bit or were embarrassed.

Alex added that anyone who claimed circumcised was somehow more attractive was just flat out weird. The interview ended with the kid saying parents shouldn’t circumcise their boys. It wasn’t needed and it wasn’t a nice thing to do.

I should add that the Alex’s stuff was clearly visible in the photo. He was completely naked. Such material is legal in the US. In fact the work of Jock Sturges may be more explicit. But the underage models in the Sturges images never comment on the state of their genitals.

I can see where the author of the “At the Cabin” series came up the the idea for “Today’s Young Eunuch Magazine.” Naturally Magazine is the same thing only in reverse. A naked uncut boy speaking out in opposition to body modifications as opposed to a eunuch doing the opposite.

Looks like the interview was invented with erotical purpose

I stand corrected on the magazine itself.

The Archive will have to moderate at the level required by the country in which the server it runs on, exists. No more links to nude children. Period.

I know the laws are looser in Europe, having seen some of these kind of magazines in the shops there on past trips, but they are not legal where the Archive lives.

I did not edit the links out due to a sense of prudishness, I edited them as the archive could be taken offline by the authorities if we do not.

my circumcision was widely discussed, and I'm still feel unconfortabile about it. the option was considered a disgrace by my father, and so I lived it. This is why I feel so close to Atreyu's stories.

I would have preferred to be the boy described by PeetTheCat, naked in a newspaper but still intact. Some photos were taken anyway, and it is likely that they were almost as widespread as that magazine.

None of our 3 boys were circumcised. My wife gave birth to them at home with a midwife. Her brother is a Dr, his wife a nurse. They had their 3 boys , same age as ours, all cut. My sister in laws sister had one boy, and had him cut ( very ugly!) Family gatherings somehow always got to the subject of we we did not circumcising our boys. I was always shocked that a Dr and 2 nurses could believe the crap they gave as good medical reasons to have boys cut. Hygiene, social compliance, penile cancer and even they were protecting them from HIV. I am English, think I only saw 2 circumcised penises until I moved to the USA. So every reason they had for circumcision i i would just point to UK and Europe and point out they didnt have those problems. They could not believe that the only reason Americans circumcise their boys was because the USA prude surgeon general thought it would stop masturbation.
