Castration/Penectomy discussion at CLAW

As many of you know, I'm just over 3 months post op from nullification surgery. I am a eunuch and 100% of the penis has been removed and I'm smooth down there now. Things are going very well and I'm getting very comfortable with my decision and the joy that I'm feeling since surgery. I have been in discussion with the education coordinator at CLAW ('Cleveland Leather Annual Weekend' in April http://clawinfo.org ) and I have decided and been approved to present a seminar on nullification, penectomy, and castration in order to discuss the how's and why's of doing this. I want it to be a serious discussion to bring awareness to these body modifications. I would like to do a panel type discussion with 2 or 3 other guys who have had any of these mods performed and are comfortable discussing their experiences and reasons.

I wish to address the safety issues, ways to obtain this above board by following the appropriate procedures, proper medical terms to use with providers, aftercare and long-term considerations. While I don't intend to discuss much about trans issues, there are other forums for that, I will discuss some of the hormone issues post op that need to be considered. I will probably discuss chemical castration as well. While I plan to stay away from the fetish/fantasy side of the house, I would like to have some Dom/sub discussion as this plays into reasons for some to seek this out.

If you are a guy who has had these modifications performed for other than transgender reasons and plan to or wish to attend CLAW, I'd like to discuss with you your reasons, outcomes, and current lifestyle to get your perspectives and see if you might like or be a fit for the panel. We are not planning any live public display of the modifications and photos in the powerpoint presentation will be somewhat limited. However private times can be arranged individually if desired. Of course, this will be openly discussed so if you aren't "out" with your mods, this panel isn't the place for you. Even if you were done underground by a cutter, the experiences may help others to better understand the mods, and I would still be interested in your experiences. Everyone who is attending CLAW is welcome to attend this session and participate with questions or other discussions about these body mods. If you will be at CLAW, please check the program for time and location of this seminar. I'd love to have you join in. I feel it is time to bring further awareness to these body mods for those who truly desire/need them to be done and how to obtain them.

I did a similar AMA at another, smaller, event like this 3 years ago. It was a mixed reception. I also think it's a lot more known now among the kink masses. I'd expect you'll have a better response than I had. Nothing was negative, it was more people were curious and most left with a "not for me" attitude.

I did get a few questions from people who have run into others like us.

The discussions about the long term maintenance issues we face were not asked about in any significant way. I think what you'll run into is among this group, if you don't have a cock and balls, the options are in their mind more limited, so they write you off without offering a chance to show otherwise.

Still, I think this is an important educational opportunity. Unfortunately I have limited time this year to be away from my job, so I have to pass on attending.

Congratulations. It's just really cool that this is happening. It would be very interesting to hear you two present about your respective experiences with your presentations and reception. I guess it's just because I am at that age, but more women know about ADT or castration because of husbands or fathers than I would have ever thought. Took a copy of "ADT an essential guide" to work. Several women were quite well informed. The one women whos husband has stage 4 pc did all their research and decided on surgical castration. She gave me the name of a urologist who would consider prophylactic prostatectomy. Peoples views are changing.

I would say deep root, yes. I have absolutely no penile tissue that get engorge with blood to get hard, even under the skin. I saw the pics and it was a major surgery to get in there and take it all. All I feel now is when the muscles seem to twitch like when I would get an erection before but I really can't be sure.

A little about me—sex wan never really a strong drive for me. When with a partner, it usually ended with a disappointing experience with no climax or orgasm. I’ve not had an erection in the last 4 years and currently I am locked in a very small chastity cage. If I masturbate, it usually ends with a painful and small orgasm after about 30-40 minutes of effort through a flaccid penis.
