So, I have a little cold. Nothing serious. My chest is feeling a bit congested and I started Mucinex last night.

Starting last night and all day today I've been leaking precum (seminal fluid). No reason, it just has been dripping a bit.

I wondered if it was the Mucinex and I found this article at the US National Institue of Health:

It looks as if I am not the only person to notice a change in seminal fluid while taking Mucinex.

Not surprising. This medication is used to thin out mucous, etc., so pretty much any bodily secretion is going to get thinned out while taking it. It's an expectorant, after all, so the main purpose is to get the fluids thinner and easier to get out.

I've never noticed anything to do with seminal fluids, for no more often than I ever expel any, while taking it. And I take a lot of it in the winter months. I have noticed that it seems to make my nose run more, increases thirst, and even thins out ear wax when I have head congestion due to colds.

Yes, it was causing a cough because of postnasal drip and I stopped it.

These over the counter medicines have no warning labels mentioning these various affects on male sex organs and semen. Scary ( those antacids) what might happen to you just from taking over the counter, non precription drugs. Makes me wonder what improved sperm counts allergy sufferers and cold and flu patients are shooting out. That is a very impressive improvement in that man s semen quality and sperm count.
