You will find a tremendous amount of information and good people here. I'm a writer as well (avocation) though I have yet to complete any one of several novels I have started. My published work is primarily in trade journals and research. I have just begun my journey of chemical castration, with the end result being surgical castration after a successful chemical trial.

Welcome. If you learn nothing else, I hope you learn that people with a desire for castration are often the most normal people you'd ever meet.

It reminds me of a very very old joke I heard on a party album way back. A man was asked why he was gay. The person asking wanted to know if his mother was to active or perhaps his father too passive. His answer was, "my dear, I was just born lucky".

Many on here aren't lucky to have a desire that society feels is strange. But, trying to dig out the reason for the desire to be a eunuch won't yield one single answer. It most likely might even be an unanswerable question.

My advice is to get to know the people, not the desire. The community on here is amazing. I think you will like them.

Misha2020: making it through the many challenges life throws our way to become an "older gentleman" you've succeeded in life. Therefore you have not missed anything. That's the secret! To enjoy each and every experience in life as it comes to its fullest. Since there is no right way or wrong way each avenue deserves full exploration. Of course the phrase "older gentleman" is rather subjective with either word having different levels of interpretation. Much as there becomes different levels of interpretation to addicted to sex. I happen to love sex and partake as often as possible which doesn't make me a sex addict to my way of thinking any more than my love for a great cup of coffee.
