Cats the movie

So I saw cats yesterday because I have seen and heard so many horrible reviews. Not sure what people were expecting, it was pretty much the stage show with better effects. One truly horribly bad, low moment is Jennifer Hudson singing memories. I made my girlfriend watch Elaine Page singing it on YouTube just to see how beautiful a song it could be.

But the highlight of the movie for me turned out to be the very androgynous costumes! Ok some girls had boobs, but the smooth crotches were incredible! I nearly stood up and shouted " That's it! That's it! That's how my body should look!" But without the fur of coarse 🙂. Dont know why I only did it in my head, there were only 6 people in the theater and we were 2 of them.

If I want to see an androgynous crotch all I need is too look in the mirror while wearing briefs.

However, I can honestly say I'd rather spend a week on a Mississippi chain gang than two hours watching Cats. There is just something that really creeps me out about it.

I'll wait for it to show up on Prime or Netflix for free. Shouldn't take too long seeing how it has a 2.8 rating on IMDB. Then again, maybe I won't.

I'm going nowhere near this version of CATS until it is free to see.

There is an old version of CATS that can substitute for anyone desiring TS Elliot's poetry.

I went to see Cats three times. -First time last Christmas. It was a bit different than the original version. I do still have the dvd to that one somewhere.Anyway I think this new version of Cats was very excellent and outstanding. Superb. For those of you who didn't see it you totally missed out. But you can still get the dvd later. Also there is talk of it being re-released with a few changes made. For those that didn't appreciate this version I'd say to just try to make yourself young again. All the critics seemed to be all older white men.
