I have been interested in how long it takes for the clamp marks on your scrotum to dissappear?

Clamp marks would not be an issue. Crushing the spermatic cords and vessels requires traumatic force that would also permanently damage the distal (below the clamp) portion of the scrotum. Like the testes the damaged scrotum would become necrotic and eventually fall off. Now if you have ever smelled necrotic tissue you will know that the burdizzo tool is best left to castrating livestock.

I've been done by burdizzo, and it didn't leave any dead tissue on the sack (at least, on the skin of the sack). It depends from many circumstances. In any case, with burdizzo the sack doesn't disappear totally so often as after elastration.

I have seen pics on the Malebodymods site of a guy who hat two notches missing from his sack where the clamp jaws were... Not a good look.

I think he did successfully neuter himself but not sure if our NHS did not help out with the clean up process.

Notches with burdizzo are inevitables.

The Burdizzo is only meant to clamp across the spermatic chord held against the edge of the scrotum (the Burdizzo's jaws definitely shouldn't bite right across the scrotum). Therefore the scrotum's blood supply is not affected. But crushing the chord damages the blood supply to the testicle which then shrinks. The marks on the scrotum fade and disappear in time.

After few months the marks of the clamps appear almost as lines at the base of the testicles.

So at least happened to me.
