I’m not a eunuch, but I have no penis. Throughout my life it seems that I’ve had quite a few medical instruments inserted deep into my urethra. Hell, after a surgery when I was 11, I had a Foley catheter in my bladder for a couple of weeks. I walked around with a bag attached to my leg—in the summer—-in Florida. Wearing shorts, everyone stared at my bag of piss and the tube snaking up into my shorts. It wasn’t especially peasant at the time, but it left an impression.

I’m bringing all of this up to say that the experience of having my shortened urethra explored in a medical setting triggered my current interest in sounding. I’m ultra careful with technique and sterility (to the best of my ability). Most metal sounds are (obviously) too long, but I’ve found medical grade silicone versions that work nicely. They’re still longer than I need, but they’re easier to deal with than metal sounds. It’s really easy to get to my prostate and bladder-even if I try to avoid going into the bladder itself.

I learned one thing not to do when sounding I saw my urologist stretch my urethra and he numbed it with 4% lidocaine so I tried it myself and over stretched my urethra and hurt myself because I couldn't feel any pain now I leave the big stuff to the professionals and only sound where I can feel it and stop if it hurts. It should never hurt it's only to feel good.
