I have one recommendation to this sites moderators. Now that the EA is in the public's eye, the Fiction Archive needs to be purged of ALL stories marked [minor]. I stay away from the Fiction section because many times you can't see the [minor] tag until you select the story. I don't want even my pseudonym linked to those stories because they might be considered child porn by a motivated prosecutor, and none of us needs that trouble.
I noticed that the news didn't call it a "eunuch social network" or "castration information resource." They called it a "Eunuch fetish site," and now it is linked in the popular press to an illegal cutter. We don't need it to have the label "pedophilic" attached as well. Mark my words, increased scrutiny is coming.

If the article is correct, they met on a "Dark Web" site called Eunuch.com. This is not a Dark Web site and it is eunuch.org not eunuch.com. Granted, they might have it wrong and meant to refer to this site, but we are granted First Amendment rights to post stories, fiction, about most any subject, even about minors having sex and getting their parts cut off. Child porn involves pictures of real children in sexually compromised situations.
Certainly, some people don't wish to read such stories and shouldn't, but you aren't going to be irreversibly tainted if you stumble across one, and you aren't going to be prosecuted, as long as you live in the United States. Such stories, however,
in other countries. The site and some of the members have received some heat from some of those countries, Germany is one I think.

Is this the reason no one has an actual profile pic for their avatar on here?

Actually, most people would prefer to maintain a degree of anonymity.

Thx for the heads up. Swapping mine now for one that won’t be as recognizable.

I doubt trouble is coming at all. It said Eunuch fetish site, not the Eunuch Archive. The URL they posted will take people to a site offering that domain name for sale. There are several sites out there, and I feel fairly confident in it not being the archive where the exchange of information took place. The staff here is very vigilant in killing posts seeking or offering cutters. They also actively moderate the personals section for the same thing.
Also, the archive has weathered this and been through it before, in a much more restrictive environment, back in 2006. The folks who own the Archive have it covered. I think you should place more worry on the fact the law enforcement folks in Highlands County, Florida essentially victim shamed the guy who got castrated. Specifically in the 2nd and last paragraphs. Re-read the article you linked and you'll see what I mean. They have treated this as a big 'ole joke.

Yes, they have, and it's shameful.
True, a crime was committed, by the letter of the law.
However, the victim's privacy should have been respected as well.
This is why so much work has been done through the EA to get the gender dysphoria of Male-to-Eunuch onto the books as a REAL issue, and not just some fetish.
Non-binary is more and more common now. OK, if you are NB in the head, then why can't you be NB between the legs, if you like?
Then again, the first day of MtF research and surgery, those trans-Folks were viewed as freaks, too. And it's still a journey for them.
One can only imagine what a journey the whole MtE odyssey will be.

Oh man......
After chasing the non binary surgery for more than six years after my Orchiectomy, there was some evidence that it was becoming more acceptable as I only needed one letter instead of two. This could put a real monkey wrench in the works for others seeking what I have finally, I hope, accomplished as my surgery is scheduled about six weeks from now.
So theoretically, I should be done before the controversy gets out of hand. I wish you who follow best of luck on achieving your desires.

Damn, I proud to part of our forum. All the work that has been put in by the "staff". Will never be changed by a news article. Too late roger, turn up in NZ, may well 'recognise' you, lol
