Just started on Androcur

Well this is it, I took the chemical castration plunge today. I had to wait about a month to get my order from an online pharmacy but now the discovery process has begun. I'll know in a few weeks if this is going to work for me. If not I'll ween off and try something else. I'm a little excited because I'm not exactly sure what to expect because it's been so long since I did something like this that I've mostly forgotten what it was like, I'm not real excited about the potential side affects of Androcur such as brain tumors etc, but that's likely dose related and possibly caused by the addition of another hormone such as in the birth control pill. But who knows, let's see how it goes. Plus all of those cases were long term users.

So 6/6 is day 1, at 100 mg per day.

I don't know how long I should stay at this dose so I'll take it day by day. I want to be at 50 mg within a month. Then 25mg asap.

I wanted to mention something after taking the 2nd dose. I can tell there's a subtle difference already but it's not from a change in T. The drug can have an affect like a mild sedative which is what I'm feeling. That's about it, I'm still very horny so there's nothing more to report.

I started like 3 weeks earlier. I can tell that I have lost that constant hornyness by now. It is even hard to remember what it felt to be horny all the time. It is just not there anymore. Still, sometimes I feel sexual impulses, bu they aren't hard to resist.

I tend to think that it is because 7 years ago my t levels were higher and drop was much more steep. But still, I haven't reached so called eunuch calm yet. And I don't feel as castrated yet as last time.

But then, all side effects aren't as bad as they were last time. Especially sleep. It is not as good as it was before androcur, but not as bad as during the first time.

The body changes with age. The lower your T is to start the less of a shock to your system I suppose it will be. It's day 4 for me and I'm not noticing anything. The last time I did Androcur I had a constant pre cum drip going on starting on day 3. It's now day 4 and I'm dry down there so that might have changed for me. As for the next 3 weeks, who knows? I'm in suspense.

I started to really notice the effects after about three weeks, and a blood test confirmed that I had very little T left in my system. That was on just 50mg a day from the start.

Been on it for about 16 months now and started taking oestrogen 3 months ago, and I never want testosterone in me again!

From my experience with a short trial, 50 MG 2 X a day for 15 days and lowering to 50 MG daily worked for me. I think the suggested dosage is to stay at 100 Mg daily until some noticeable changes happen such as loss of libido, reduction in semen output and erection difficulty which for me started after 15 days. 4 days in and no side effects. I'll have to wait and see when I get to day 15 if I want to drop the dose. If something unwanted happens I'll drop down to 50 mg right away. Thanks for all the support.

I also want to mention that I have noticed a side effect. I now have the leaky pre cum problem again. It started sometime today and I didn't notice until I felt an actual wet spot in the crotch of my shorts. When I examined the fluid it was clear, viscous, and a little sticky. I've gotten in the habit of not wearing underwear so I'm going to have to buy some and line the front with a paper towel. If that gets wet too quick I'll try a maxi pad. Has anyone else had this side effect? If so, how long did it last?

I think I noticed more than average semen volumes during first 2 weeks.
