Kit Harington’s character Jon Snow has suffered some gory injuries on “Game of Thrones,” but the actor revealed he nearly maimed himself for real during the filming of the show’s last season.

Harington said that he almost tore off a testicle while riding a robotic buck (which is like a mechanical bull), which is used as part of stimulating the dragons in the show. “I think what sums the buck work up for me is there was a bit where Jon almost falls off the dragon —swings round really violent like this —and my right ball got trapped and I didn’t have time to say stop,” Harington said in a behind-the-scenes video for HBO’s “Game Revealed.”

“And I was being swung round, in my head I thought, ‘This is how it ends — on this buck swinging me around by my testicles. Literally,’” he said. “Buck work is not easy.”

Its very interesting that he is so willing and eager to tell this story in the press. It makes you wonder if he is motivated by bragging about what tough balls he has or if he might have a castration fetish and he likes being known as that guy who almost got his ball ripped off by a machine on film. If he had been half castrated on film with no pain killers, you wonder how he would have reacted on film ? Maybe win an acting award for it or the writers change the script to have his character lose a ball from riding his dragon too recklessly lol ?

He sounded pretty resigned to losing his ball without a huge struggle to save it. That s unusual for most men his age to take such a passive attitude to getting half castrated.

It makes you wonder what he was wearing and how one ball gets stuck in a moving machine ? Most times, even with low hanger balls, where one ball goes, his brother is sure to follow. He d need to have a big sack to get his balls separated enough for only one to get trapped and yanked so hard. It d be interesting to hear the details and how he got his ball out, and if he got released on or off film ? Was he going commando to even get his ball trapped to begin with ?

Its also interesting that his story is being reported. Its not considered to be off limits to openly cover his ball and his near castration. That s pretty amazing progress on covering castration in the news. Its not unmentionable or all whitewashed as a male problem or some other sissy terms to avoid saying castration. And openly talking about his ball is now allowed. I wonder if the film s publicity agents helped get his ball story out in the news to promote the movie ? Get viewers to tune in trying to guess which scene he is getting his ball ripped in ?
