My last shot of Lupron was in June, 2016. The available data warned that Lupron takes two years or more to finally clear one's system. In my case it has taken nine months more. When I was diagnosed with StageIV Prostate Cancer, the sweet old gal at the Prostate Centre said, "we're going to turn you into an old woman." She knew whereof she spoke.

Lupron starved the tumor, and 37 radiation sessions fried it. The studies done in Australian prisons allowed my oncologist to limit the duration of chemical castration to 18 months. I can't imagine being on the stuff for twice as long. At last, the stirrings have come back! Thank you for having me, this is whitemoustache checking out.🙏

Thanks a lot for the update.

Good to hear it all worked out for you and even better to hear you are getting back to your old self.

My new hormone doctor mentioned that Lupron was VERY powerful but I didn't realize it was quite like this. Glad you are doing better.
