Chemical castration and lab tests

To those that know much more than me...

I'm curious whether androcur/cyproterone, depo provera, et al. that reduce testosterone do so in an identifiable way. Do they change the lab results in a pattern that a urologist or endocrinologist could recognize as "self-medicating?" Thanks.

Hi I tried Androcur with Tamoxifen for about 10 days and then had a lab test. My testosterone was at < 3.47 nmol/l so very low. But the urologist looked at me and said it must be a measurement mistake since I did not look as somebody who has low testosterone. Nothing they noticed. But they did check cholesterol and that was all OK.

Have also done it with androcur... was on 50 (castration level) with it and was doc thinking is a organ failure.

Depo provera could give a really big spike in progesterone... don't use it!
